We moved into the house at the beginning of July and immediately went to work pulling together the house renovation plan. The house has great bones, but before we could start on the inside we needed plans and permits. I will discuss that process more in another post. In the meantime, we turned our focus to the outside of the house and installing a contemporary fence.
There was about 20 years of overgrown brush tangled in the 4 foot chainlink fence with a concrete footer around the parameter of the backyard. The backyard also had a 12 X12 concrete slab/patio when we moved into the house. My husband and I cleaned brush, hired a crew, and had an arborist come and cut back the large Oak trees before i took pictures. Therefore, the pictures below don’t give you the full effect of all the brush that existed when we moved in.
Here are the pictures during the demo phase of the fence installation.
Next up the installation of the new fence. The new fence turned out better than I could have imagined. Here is a sneak peek.
